We recently checked in with pellet stove owners, Lee and Laurie who contacted us with some installation questions. We wanted to make sure the installation process went well and verify their stove is running how it should.
They decided to have a little fun with us, joking that their stove is not running right. In truth, Lee said “it is running great! In fact, it is running better than great.” He goes on to say that their stove “did not run this great when it was brand new”. Apparently there were some installation issues that caused unnecessary tasks for Lee and Laurie. Lee says, “we had nothing to compare it to when we first got it, so we thought it was doing fine all that time and now we know it was not.”
To back up a bit, Lee says “when the stove was new, we had to empty the fire box at least twice a day and clean the glass every couple of hours. After a while, we would just leave it dirty for the day. We always had an issue with being told that the stove was not clean enough, when I know we cleaned it all the time. Now that I see how well is running, and I can see how you thought that we did not clean it enough. We have no idea what they did to it when they installed it, but there is a world of difference now! I know that I have said thank you before but we wanted to thank you again.”
