Cleaning your stove is more than dusting the top, cleaning the glass, and making sure the ash pan is empty. While those things are great, regular stove maintenance and cleaning is more inclusive. While not difficult or that time consuming, a deeper clean is important to the longevity of your stove and keeping it at peak performance.
An ash vac will greatly reduce your time and make cleaning your stove easier and tidier. Make sure you clean the blower/fan/motor to remove dust and to help prevent dust from making its way inside. Clean the exhaust blower and motor either from the front (behind the brick board) or from behind through the vent T. A soft tube adapter on the ash vac can help you get to hard to reach places.
Also, clean out the hopper and into the auger where fine dust and debris like to settle. Be sure to dust inside and outside of your stove, and consult your user manual for maintenance needs that are specific to your appliance make and model.
