Here’s some more Frequently Asked Questions about Pellet Stoves, Fireplaces, Heating, and Renewable Energy.
I have a Baby Country stove that I have started burning pellets in due to the price of corn. Just recently it has been going out due to auger setup. If I remove the motor stop bolt and work the motor and auger back and forth it frees up and runs for about a day. Any suggestion!
It sounds like you have some fuel quality problems. Be sure to screen your fuel and maybe find a better brand. It helps alot to mix in at least 15-20 percent corn. Corn will give you more heat making the price very comparible with wood pellets. Remember, the bag of wood pellets is 40 pounds and a bushel of corn is 56 pounds.
